You are a student at the University of Virginia, so you are working pretty hard. If you want to get the best results, you will have to organize yourself well and maintain a strong study discipline, which is the hardest thing for almost everyone. To help achieve this, a unique app called STUDEAM (literally “may I study” in Latin) was born. It is the first automatic study planner, created to improve your time management and study skills. The app doesn’t study for you, and it can’t do your homework (sorry, we haven’t invented that yet), but it will plan for you!
It is not a digital calendar nor a task manager. Forget what you even know and imagine that you are Aladdin and you find Genie while studying. You make your first wish to help you study. Instead of doing quick magic Genie asks you all your tasks, the minutes you think each one will take and when you have time available to do them. Imagine that later Genie will carefully draw a calendar with your optimal planning, indicating the start and end time of each task and the appropriate breaks, from now until the end of the last task. I mean, he’s going to plan it for you. Stop imagining. We designed STUDEAM to be your Genie, not in a bottle but, in an app. You can call it as many times as you need. There is no limit to the magic it can do for you.
Studeam’s history
The idea for this app arises precisely from the bad experience with time management of one of its creators, first as a student and second, as a high school teacher and tutor. During a course helping students to plan the study, he came to the conclusion that a planning algorithm had to be built to facilitate the start when they come to study. By doing this basically he created the best anti procrastination app you can ever imagine.
A tool to avoid procrastination
This poor time management is very evident in one of the most common problems: academic procrastination.
